Navigation in implantology

A tool that enables the clinician to accurately plan and perform the implant procedure.

How does it work?

This is a computer programme that allows the patient's intraoral scans to be combined with a computed tomography (cbct) scan. The doctor plans in 3D the positions of the implants, selects their shape and size. Based on the plan, a SURGICAL DRAWING is printed.

What is a surgical template?

Disposable surgical instrument ( printed in biocompatible resin) for precise insertion of dental implants.

The computer navigation system allows you to plan
virtually the entire prosthetic work from insertion
the implant up to and including the final prosthetic restoration

Navigation system - Key benefits for the patient

  • Implants in difficult anatomical conditions (accuracy to 0.1 mm)
  • Minimising the need for bone reconstruction prior to implantation, saving time and money.
  • Reducing the extent of the procedure and healing time (MINIMUM INVASIVITY!)
  • Increased efficiency and predictability of treatment
  • Increasing the safety of the procedure
  • Reduction of possible complications
  • Reduction in treatment time
  • Possibility to provide temporary prosthetic work during implant surgery
  • Suitability for single or multiple implantations
  • Possibility to plan screwed-in work (elimination of cement - a frequent cause of inflammation)

Implant treatment planning
is carried out using the Implant Studio Practice programme
